Plenty of videos showing it takeoff from grass w/o a problem, but it is a bouncy one. You should be okay.

Are you sure the speeds are accurate? I've flown a 4S and 5S Dynam 262 and though they are both quick, I never got the feeling of closing in on 100mph.

Try using Thunder power batteries 5s 4000 30c, Amazon has some great deals on them.

Using 30c cells would be a downgrade from the 45c that I'm using. All I'm trying to do is share my experience with this plane, however different it may be from yours.

Im thinking that the extra detail of the FW doesnt justify the extra expense...A set of HK retracts might cost $30-$40..from 150ft up who will notice the out of scale nacelles..Dynams seem to fly good out of the box no matter what one it is...I read that the FW262 has a tip stall problem resulting in a few write offs..Can't say Ive read that about the Dynam..$250 in Oz is best I can find...Cant even find anyone willing to stock The FW262..Going on past models..it would end up around the $600..USA...you lucky country.

The tipstall isnt present on the dynam me 262 because it has unscale wings. Its wing tips wider and thicker, not narrow like the Freewing & scale me262.

Thanks for your input V8..I do like scale but as they say....hard to tell 150ft in the air...and..at 1/2 the price...not an issue..There have been some great detailing done here and can be done when not flying.

Neither can do 100mph on stock setup, you r lucky if it hits 90 on a dive. and it doesn't matter which brand battery you are using.. thunder puff sucks BTW. You can prove I'm wrong by posting a video of your dynam flying with whatever cells you like, I can Doppler it, but plz don't just fly it on internet and says my jet does 100 mph.
FW wins in scale department, ease of matainence, as well as retract durability. dynam wins on the canopy lol, and price.

Dynam is not FMS
