tail boom support length

I bought a set of carbon tail boom supports today and if I leave there
current length as is it will push my rear stabiliser further back.As it is
now the stabiliser sits directly under the last part of the rotor blades.
Will moving it back out from under the blades effect the helicopters
characteristics much? The heli is a JR Venture 50 with 600mm wood blades.
Thanks
Dennis

If the tail blades don't (and can't) smack it, then there's no problem.
