just know you are opening up a can of worms here... if you can't solder and are not comfortable with this stuff I DON'T recommend it.

I took it apart to look, no way I can solder that. Really a bummer

send it back to them, they will fix it for free but you need to pay shipping to them.

I just emailed Fyetech... really sucks, I bought it 2 months ago, took a month to get to US from China, my FPV plane crashed and was taken because of an RC link failure 2 days before it arrived, it finally got returned to me just 2 days ago, and now it's going to be 2 more months to send it to china and wait to come back...

everything I order from china is here in less than a week... can't imagine how it took that long.

however now yes it is expensive to send back and also will take about a month to send and get it back from them... at most..

and honestly I just can't belive those pots are stuck and one is stripped? did you strip the one?

i would have to get the part number and order from digikey then I can replace them for you no problem but maybe someone in your area can help you?

Almost everything I order from China takes around 3 weeks... at either rate 2 pots are stripped, I know I was the one that did it, I didn't even realize it, I just stuck my flat head in and went to turn and instead of turning it stripped it out on both elevator and rudder.

oh yeah I can't gurantee you anything BTW... I don't know the history on your unit and also may have a heart attack while soldering and destroy your board

ok up to you the offer is there, I will do it for free but you pay parts and shipping.

parts will be less than a dollar each but shipping to my place is 7$ from digikey. however I need to get ahold of FY to get the numbers on those pots as they will be in a specific resistance range for the AP.

then you need to pay shipping to me and back...

all that being said if you know someone good with a soldering iron they can do this for you...

I don't even see how it COULD be soldiered, looks like a multilayered PCB.

you can't see the back of it? can you take a picture front and back for me?

I have replaced the processor on boards just like that with sucess before a pot should be childs play comparitively.

I would have to de-case it again... but from the bottom side opposite the pots I saw a row of resistors... definitely beyond my skill for sure. I wonder how well it would function without rudder...

i will function fine without rudder... you can use it on a wing but you need to be able to adjust the gains.

Well aileron adjusts just fine, which is the most important at least...

no you need elevator too... or it will bob like mad.
