Tee Hee. Almost bought that "VQ" Spitfire today myself. Told Darren about it too. We're all on the same page - WARBIRD FORMATION FLYING!

I'm glad you posted that reminder too Jeff. My old Spitfire power system is currently in the Cub so I need to get another big set.

I want to match what you and Todd have in your big Warbirds.

Events scheduled Float Fly, All Electric, and Night Fly

Hey you Renegades,

We are planning on having the first of our two annual float flys on the 15th of May at Utah lake.
Love to have you come over and fly some planes off Utah Lake. I heard wings float!
June will be the All Electric Event in Salt Lake and July will be our Nightfly.
Love to see you guys again this year. They are still talking about the Lipo safety demo you put on last year.
There is always (well almost always) free lunches.

Later

Alright boys, I bit the bullet and have a 72.5" Spitfire on its way. Unfortunately the motor Jeff posted is out of stock, but let me know when you guys want to go in on an order.

Oh, and Jeff, do you have a two or three-bladed prop on your corsair?

So what would you guys do if I bought a big warbird and put a glow motor in it?

Sounds like fun Wade! Where do you fly at Utah Lake?

So what would you guys do if I bought a big warbird and put a glow motor in it?

Sweet Diego. I'm flying the Corsair with a two blade. A three blader would be awesome, but I can't find any the correct size that don't cost 30-50 bucks apiece.

I wouldn't "do" anything as long as you don't fire it up at the sod farm. I would think you'd lost your marbles, not just your fingernails.

What are the odds I could outrun gun powder with an OS120?

Pretty sure Dan's not talking about using blanks, so the gunpowder isn't what you gotta worry about, it's the lead shot that was emitted by the gunpowder that's the issue... although Finch is about the only guy I know who actually considers how to make a plane fast enough to escape a bullet. That's a serious speed addiction there buddy!
