So are we sticking with Oct 27th for this month's contest?

I would probably be out for an October full on contest.

I've got an 8-hour exam on the 27th, I don't want to change the contest schedule just for my sake.

I wouldn't mind having a contest before AZ. Next weekend is the only one that I couldn't do since we'll be in So Cal for EUA.

If we had it in Ut Co, my chances of attending go up.

EUA, a very poor way to say fall break for kids.

I think that would be UEA My wife has teacher conferences in Salt Lake on the 19th and I've got fall break that same day, so we'll be down that weekend. If we don't do the contest on the 20th that's okay. I'll still be flying somewhere in Utah County even if it's by myself

David....did you go ahead and get something other than the 4 channel receiver you mentioned? If not, and if the 4 channel doesn't do what is needed for DLG, I have an 8 channel FrSky that will work with your setup that I'll trade you. I have a little IFO park flyer that I need to build that will work with a 4 channel.

I use the little ASSAN 4 channels and love them. It was a bugger to set up and people told me it could not be done, but between SJ and #11 I now have a JR setup for 4 channel DLG happiness.

As a bonus the rx is a tiny little bugger.

I'm thinking about buying planes just to crash them and post videos. I bet people would even donate. Maybe put the receiver in a steel box and shoot the planes down. Or maybe I can just get out and fly dlg more. Somethings gotta give. Winter sucks and I hear that sucking sound getting a lot closer.

Yo Pimp, I have a deal for you! I have a bunch of planes that would crash real good like. Hows about you give me the DLG's you have and then I video you crashing my planes to bits!!!!! We could even do it after the 1st snow next week which would help take the sucky edge off the coming of winter!

I actually stopped the order in time. Turns out Aloft Hobbies has the same one for $6 less. I also picked up a 6 channel from Aloft. They are great! Best prices and super fast shipping!
