I don't think so Don. The 16 still comes with a 30A ESC. The Squall has a 45A ESC.
I believe the Squall fan is 60-64mm. Not 70mm

The last EF-16 I bought over here in the UK in August for a friend came with a Squall fan. Can't remeber if it was the 3S or 4S impeller though.

This guy (see below post 430) also seems to have the 70mm fan included, there seems to be a little confusion over whether the 3 or 5 blade fan is 3 or 4 cell

Be good to know what sort of difference the suposed 'new' stock set up handles on 3cell compared to the old 55mm. Seeing as that seemed such a good starting point and utilised cheap 2200 3s lipos it'll be a shame if the new set up requires more expensive and heavier 4s lipos for those who arent after the extra performace.

The impeller in that link is the 5 blade 3S item, so no need to worry.

Yes they do Don. Mine came with the three blade 70mm squall edf unit and a 30amp esc.

Is there any addendum in the manual or anything acknowledging the 70mm fan unit?

Just called a few model shops here, none know of or have the F16 with a 3 bladed 70mm unit. Do you have a model number on the box please?

As luck would have it, I saved that decal sheet for future reference.

I would love to see some test numbers and/or video from the people who have received the 70mm fan. I'd love to know how it performs against the 56mm.

Copy my paint job? Why didn't you say so? Here is the decal set that I made. Special Thanks to db1 for posting the original Edwards decals. I used/altered some of those to make my set. Also, here is a pic of the real thing for reference.

Be sure to post pics of the finished product.
