bixler motor uppgrade

hi, i was woundering to buy this motor http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...idProduct=7993 for a bixler.
but i want the mounting the other way so i wont have to press the shaft to the other side. so i found this motor http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...dProduct=18117. will it be good?
i want to use a 6*4e prop,

i badly want so hints on what to buy, dont want to buy a motor that will be al crap on plane.

To make a bigger/stronger/faster motor be able to be mounted on that air frame, your going to need a mount like this..... See bottom right pic of page.

I can't help you with your original suggestions but I did use an 2200kv inrunner with similar specs. 13 bucks. Works fine. I don't understand any need to reinvent the wheel unless you are looking for the challenge. Plenty of discussion on this elsewhere. As far as my $13, 2835, 2200kv inrunner...it just fits right in. No adjustments needed. Just a little hot glue. Is the nacelle strong enough? Has been so far. No additional mount needed.

BTW, my .2 cents, the aftermarket mounts are crucial if using an outrunner that is larger than the diameter of the internal nacelle or if one wants to use a larger than 6x4 prop. I may be wrong, but I don't see how the external mount will make the setup stronger. The nacelle stem is what I consider the weakest part and, as I see it, the mount does not address that.

I agree with you RVA. :^)

I didn't intend to state that it provided a improvement in airframe mounting strength to handle the motor. That mount I linked, was just to easily allow his linked larger motor (& most likely a stronger motor)to be mounted with it's reverse shaft configuration issue.

Personally , I think it's a bonus though to have a bigger prop option as well . :^)

dont realy need it, and i realy dont need bigger prop if im going to use any of the motors, 2200kv and bigger prop then 6*4 will just make alot of heat.
the other is 2500kv.
but will it be ok whit 6*4 prop and a 2500kv motor?
