Nice video Chuck, the pilot was almost as good as our own Kody and Tim I don't know about VPP though, I've got my plate full learning to control 4 things at once but it would be worth trying just to watch the red hats reaction when I back the plane off the field. There's probably a rule against that

SupaTim, If I could fit that twin into my Doorknob I would get one from you. The concensus at the field yesterday is the RCGF is getting "tired", maybe ring wear. All I know is the 23X8 Xoar CF helped some and with your guidance on the phone I got it tuned to it's sweet spot, but it's just not got the power it needs with the can added.

Almost have the Velox RTF. Adding the pneumatic control now, sequential retract doors, brakes, etc. I'll post the video on the run up and thrust test when I get done. The Schubi 94 HST is supposed to be able to deliver 29lbs on 14S

The 60 twin rocks!!! Literally flew it til I was out of fuel in the can and til the transmitter was out of juice. Thanks D-Man for the help! It's not overpowered by any means but after a little richening up the needles yanks the 21#(ish) plane around with authority. Was hucking her down and dirty by the 3rd flight. More of a smooth "Alien" style flyer but still enough power to pull out of hover OK. Emphasis on OK. On a 50cc plane this thing would be ridiculous but for now my job is to burn fuel, log time, and keep it all in the air as much as possible!

You've got a tough life Tim! LOL I haven't burned half a gallon since the Huckfest...

His rings are suppose to be the bees knees!

If he has't done up a ring set for your engine already, he just needs the engine to be sent to him and he creates the rings in the shop.

+1 on the Bowman rings. Softer rings than stock so will break in sooner while adding heaps of compression. You'll see less blow-by and it may be the extra oomph you're missing.

Couldn't resist one more quickie with the new bird as the sun went down! The twin definitely has a distinct sound that resonates almost like cans. Maybe the read hats won't spank this one out of their field!
