I guess the EEPE is the file where taranis stores the model programming.

So, I have the Taranis setup and ready to go in the XXL tomorrow. The JR servos do buzz a bit, but in comparison to the buzz with my current Assan setup I cannot really tell a difference.

The programing so far seems fairly intuitive, at least for radio speak. I am impressed with everything so far except the size of the rx.... I love the postage stamp Assan rx's!!!!

I will decide in the next day or so if I switch from the JR ASSAN 2.4 system to Taranis. Another easy cheap option to give me a feel good for the Snipe is to just put one of my existing dual antenna rx's in the snipe. Would add a few grams but would allow for a little more piece of mind. Even on Saturday at one point in 1234 I was getting a ways away and I had this nagging feeling that kept me on the front side of the lift to keep the plane as close as possible. I dont want to have to fly that way!!!!!

Thanks Clint for letting me test drive the Taranis!!!!!

Near postage stamp sized receivers.

EEPE has the model programs in them. You can load them into a computer to test drive and modify the models.

Hey that contest stuff looks fun. As soon as my back is in good enough shape to do a halfway reasonable launch I'd like to come join you guys.

An hour of flying this evening resulted in 1, yep thats right (ONE) 2:00 flight.

The wind was blowing pretty hard and there was not one piece of sky that was not rotor from hell at any altitude! IT SUCKED!!!!!!

Never seen sink last for that long and be that strong. Most flight were just a little over 1:00. My shoulder hurts from all the launches!
