you don't need to use blue tooth at all. We should be able to just plug the data modem into the usb slot and use and adapter. Done.

Hate to say it but that's all APM does. Why complicate things?

I can not find a way to connect the USB when it is in the air.

with my MultiWii SE $30.00 board, $150.00 with all Accessories, I can make changes in the air or stop make a change and take off without much delay.

A system that is in the $1000.00 range should to that.

They have only sent back the standard Case Closed Problem Solved,
"we will report this to the Engineers"
Blow off Statement since the first email.

The real problem is They stated it will be available, Then everyone says it has to be used with 4.0 which is available on many more Android phones than Apple.
They do not have a valid excuse any more.

racermark, I am not going to argue. I do not control DJI R&D department or what they do. It has been brought up to them and they are aware. That is the most that I can do. Just out of curiosity, how are you going to use the DISH Hopper? or the Apple TV?

I do not intend on using them I just included them in the list of products that use BTU 4.0.

as to arguing there is know need.
I am all to aware of how these things work with R&D and business, There are PAYOFFS and FAVORS being traded I am sure of it as there is NO REASON there is not aN app for Android other that one of those.

I am only trying to Support the majority of DJI users, YOU KNOW THE ONES WITH ANDROID.

I really appreciate your input and in no way wish to have an argument as the only correct thing to do is for DJI to produce the Android App or make the code OPEN SOURCE so it can be done by the community that wants it.

DJI opened up the SDK to those that want to develop the apps.

Why does DJI just blow off even my first request without leading me to this info?
Answer
they do not want Android support for some reason.

I will look at it today.

Thanks Mark

Does anyone know why there is an Assistant Software v2.04 Firmware v5.26 dated 2014-01-02, and an Assistant Software v2.02 also v5.26 from 2013-09-06?
