Well I can't see the pics they are too tiny. But if you say it is a T4-90 that means it is a Webra engine. They used to make the rotary valve four stroke engines for quite a few years a long time ago.

I bought and used a Webra T4-80 for a long time on a P51 Mustang many years ago. The engine wasn't all that powerful, but it had a distinctive sound that was different from the Saito or OS four stroke engines. So it sort of sounded a little better and more scale like. in comparison to the other model engines of that time period.
Nowadays, the belt for the top end are next to impossible to get. Fortunately the belt doesn't wear out for a long time. But since there aren't any replacement belts, it does make it a problem should you ever need one. Setting up the timing on the rotary valve can be tricky. But I forget what one does to get it set anymore. Thus I agree with Reginald in that I would not want to run the engine. |

Reginald, thanks for the offer, but I sold the engine and plane years ago. I doubt I'll get another one, unless the price was really good. But if you knew the part numbers or specs of the belt, it would be really useful information to have out here on the internet.
