I got my MCFC back in the air and everything is working good now. I loaded the latest firmware and poof worked. no issues . Minsoo came thru with some new arms for the frame.

"Channel 5" and Auto take off and Landing

Hi all,

There has been discussion on three position switch concerning "Channel 5" to operate auto takeoff, altitude hold and auto landing. Functionality is described by Minsoo and others. If you do not have three position switch available you might be able to obtain same functionality by mixing two switches with two positions each. We set up one two position switch to change signal from "off" (1088) to "auto take off" (1500) and another two position switch mixed to same output from TX to raise signal to "auto landing" (1800 or higher). This way one can establish both functions without having a three position switch available. Disadvantage is that one could accidentally initiate auto landing if the switch is flipped due to mistake.... Anyway, this is something to think about. It works fine with us. Good luck. i was trying to resurrect my quad bb+navi2 and i managed to get it in the air again.
autolevel is working but the altitude is so bad, the quad needs continuous throttle input to maintain altitude. i don't have the sonar module.

my question, is it possible to maintain altitude (i mean maintain the quad in steady altitude) without the sonar?

Dear Mr. Minsoo
I am beginner making Xcopter usiing kkmultiboard,
i have calibrated esc, and able to arm the flightboard.
but when i am moving throttle stick one of the motor is not working i have installed Xcopter v2.5 by Minsoo Kim.
also i am using simple FS-C6B transmitter and don't know the calibration steps what value to set
please help me .

Autoland problem

There have been some successful auto landings but sometimes wen i
engage autoland the motors stall in mid air?anybody had this problem??

Hi,
I have just order a Tarrot T810 and i am looking for a good controller for it, what do you guys recomend ?
I have been looking at the FlyCam MCFC Set and the MultiWii with gps and osd.
Is ther any problems with this ? witch should i go for, looing for frequent fw updates and good support.

Or ar all off you going Naza ? if so, what modell Naza is the best ?

Having problems with my KK Blueboard/FlyCam "sandwich".

I've flashed the KK with Xcopter v2.9 XXcontrol via kkMulticopter flash tool (OSX - my usbasp isn't recognised in Windows), and the Naviboard with the 3.1 firmware. Both have (seemingly) succeeded.

I've calibrated the MAG, and connected to it via the Ground Station software. Sensors are working, but the 3D model shows an + configuration (not an X as expected).

That's when it hit me, the option to select the multirotor type is greyed out, with "UNKNOWN" showing.

Any ideas? My prior experience has been with MultiWii - which has been a breeze to setup by comparison

Problems with unit and support

Hello, after upgrade MFPC from V1 to V2 (also wasted almost 200USD for upgrade) I cannot set PID values to get acceptable position hold. Wrote several mails to Minsoo, he wantet my settings and now he does not reply any email. I wastet total around 500USD for that unit and not have some support.
I thing, that was my biggest mistake in RC to buy that unit. AOM is working much better, also for 500USD I can buy almost 5 units that working perfect and have continuous development.
Sorry for my report, but my experience with kkmulticopter.kr can know everybory for avoid the same mistake - buy that unit.
