Aluminum PT Boat

Just found this on youtube, the last third is a hand made Aluminum PT boat that is lovely. Sad to say, the builder has passed away. Hope you like.

Very nice memorial to a talented metal master.

I am pretty sure he used to post on here about his PT build.

Edit: He did.

Thanks for posting that Kmot. Funny how small the world gets when you start looking around. I was researching welding techniques when I found his video on aluminum shaping. Remember this, everyone, do what you love, for that is what will be remembered.

That was one of the first boats that I found on the web. I had forgotten about it. Shaping metal has always captured my attention. Thanks for the reminder. There was also a man named Steve that built miniature cannons for ships that is no longer with us. He had built his own lathe that was pretty amazing.
