You want these for 4S:
http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...50kv_140w.html And 30amp ESCs are a tad big. I get away with 12amp plush using 4S no probs. |

my fpv quad's AUW is 1250grams, and i use the same motors on 3s lipo with 8x4.5 carbonfiber props, and it hovers at %40 throttle easily. even on my setup 4s makes my quad much more powerful you are going to have a great time with it ![]() PS: don not use simonk firmware with ntm 2826-1200kv motors, there are a lot of threads of this problem.i had alot of crashes until i found out that the problem was the simonk firmware timing issue.Use the wii-esc code, believe me, i am on your side

If you run 4S..... a really good motor is this.. 3020-600kv.... $20...
http://www.hobbypartz.com/86mb96-3020-600kv.html It spins a APC 12x3.8 on my tri with 11000 mah... my friend has the 950 version.... does not work as well and can only use 10" props I have tried all kind of different motors and props.... 600kv on 4S and 12" props is in the sweet spot. my tri can fly for 20 min or lift 2.5 lbs and fly around... Don't try to guess on motors props and KV.... use what works for someone else... there are too many combos

Hi! Im using the ntm prop drive 2826 1000kv motor on my hexa (clone f550). Auw is 2.6 kg. including the battery, gopro+gimbal, landing gear. The motor runs hot after 4mins flight. Is this normal? I've used 10x4.5 and 9x6 props and get same results. Is my setup too heavy for this motor?

hah i see you wrote there too
![]() so someone says that 10x4.7 gives 930g thrust @ ~15A so thats plenty under the 21A max. 930 x 6 = 5580g max thrust and half that is 2790g (max weight of the multi for good stability) and you are under that, so id think it would be fine. could you take something heavy off (gimble?) and see if it is any cooler (to rule out weight, or not)? is it really hot out? do motors sound bad ( add a little oil to lub them maybe), is the heat progressively growing, or immediate? |

Actually, it will get heavier once i get my 4500mah pack. I haven't tried to do the 2min test, but i'm just worrying if im pushing the motor to its limit. I dont have a temp gauge so i cant tell how hot is hot. Im thinking around 60º celsius?
I'll try to put it into more diet. Maybe i'm still missing something. What do you mean progressively growing? Actually it becomes hot after 2 secs right after flight |
