What happened to half-A pylon?
When I was on the Compuserve model forum, one of the members was very active in half-A pylon racing, in the Iowa area I believe. Engine of choice of course was the Cox TD .049, but they were getting scarce, and then were outclassed by the then new Norvel .049. The forum folded shortly after that, and we all moved on to better forum software.
I've often wondered what happened to them, and half-A pylon racing?
Now that Norvel engines are again available from NV, under the new company name, has there been any interest in resurrecting that class for us low budget types? They are still affordable, though of course at a higher price these many years later like everything else.
I've seen a few of the old Compuserve members scattered over the new forums, but lost touch with most of them. Mr Clean near Parkville MO is the only one I see posting lately.
