FWIW, according to eCalc for the a60-7xs (v2) 320kV motor with Xoar PJN E props on a 8s 4500 25c/35c pack....

19x12 Optimum efficiency
2072W, 77.7A, 26.6V, 7791 rpm, 88.9%
19x12 Motor at maximum
2864W, 113.2A, 25.31V, 7155 rpm, 85.4%

20x10 Optimum efficiency
2072W, 77.7A, 26.6V, 7790 rpm, 88.9%
20x10 Motor at maximum
2896W, 114.7A, 25.25V, 7127 rpm, 85.2%

So, ignoring the maximums (which both are over the limit for the moto)r, at optimum efficiency 20x10 is virtually the same as a 19x12

The current predictions are pretty close to the Hacker recommended

recommended Prop APC-E 19x10 (81A) at 8S Lipo

Mejzlik don't make a 19x12 E prop as I have found to my cost. Got a nice shiny prop here....for an IC engine! They do however make two 20x10, one being an extra light at less then 36g, hence the question. Figures you've posted look good so I may take a punt.

Falcon makes a 19x12 electric CF prop... Mike at F3AUnlimited has them in stock

And i'm pretty sure APC makes a thin E prop 19x12 as well

Yup, APC definatly make one but I wanna go carbon. Quite a lot of flex in the APC E props, I have a 16x10 APC E on the Katana.

I also know about the Falcon prop but only one place here in the UK do them and they are pretty expensive. I was under the impression that Mejzlik were the benchmark in carbon props and I can get a 20x10 EL for less then then a Falcon 19x10.

However if the 20x10 doesn't work then its an expansive experiment. I guess the only way to really know is to get a Falcon and a Mejzlik.............

Perhaps just for the purposes of determining power levels you could use a (less expensive) Xoar PJN or PJH (F3A) electric wooden prop (or the APC-E) then buy the appropriate CF prop?

I stopped using e-props years ago, now I use regular ones in all brands, including Mejzlik (as there are far more size options), never had any issues...

The issue I have with using non E props is that they require that I cut my spinners...something I try to not do unless absolutely necessary.

I just purchased a 16x10 xoar prop for my nuance and it has a thicker hub as well. I ended up using a thinner prop washer to get enough threads into the nut. I also had to trim out and rebalance that plastic e- spinner I got from f3au. Nice prop though. Nice look and quiet in the air.

Interesting input. May well bolt the prop I have onto the 7XS then, hub is drilled for a 10mm shaft and the 7XS is of course 8mm. Easily sorted though!
