I'm kind of in the middle. Most times I can fly and control an inverted flight and do just about everything else and have a blast. But sometimes I lose focus and almost get into trouble. My hardest thing now is doing a 1/2 roll into or out of inverted. I can do continuous rolls, but can't just roll into inverted. I can loop into one easily. Anyway, the UM T-28 is a great plane that is my go to plane for fun.

Once again, another wack day... Got my new UM T-28 today, went to the park, put in a fresh battey, new 5043 prop and flew soo nice. After the end of that battery, I install a 2nd fresh battery. BOOM, light starting flashing and wouldn't bind anymore I called Horizon Hobby about 20 mins ago and they told me that either I can send them back my plane for them to check it out, or, they'll send me a new board. I choose for them to send me a new board like that I can learn more about messing around with these micro. Plus, if I would of sent it back for them to check it, I would have to wait 10 business days.

This is the second time something like this happen to me.

I have yet to see a Brushless 2S T-28, so I'll just leave this here.

Waiting on a 5030 prop, (5043 pictured) hoping to finish it up Friday and maiden Saturday.

I sure hope so, the T-28 is a beauty to fly, this should make it that much better.

I plan to snap a few more pics once I get it going. I'll try to document any things to note.

At this point all I'm worried about is the T-28 motor being attached to the upper fuselage held only by tape to the lower fuse.

I'll keep you guys updated on the progress.

When I flew my UM T-28 yesterday for the first time, all it wanted to do was just climb up and up, it didn't wanna fly straight. I aligned the wings and all but still the same. I also put the battery all the way to the front and nothing. Maybe if I just align the back wing down and leave it like that it would just do the trick.

Any helpfull tips would help, thanks.

My little T is still my all around favorite. It's trimmed perfectly and just goes anywhere I point it, fast or slow. Where I have a little nervousness with my big planes, the T is just relaxing and fun. It's pretty beat up, but when it finally wears out it's one plane I will definitley replace with a new one!

Before you start moving control surfaces:
Did you check the CG again after you had the plane cut apart and taped back together again? If not....make it a habit of checking the CG after every repair with the battery on the plane. Just the amount of tape added on the fuselage aft/behind can throw the CG off by a couple of mm s.

Don't use your finger tips for the balance point. Put together a simple jig using two sharpend pencils or wooden chop sticks super glued vertical to a block of wood. And mark the CG point stated in the manual
with a dot from a permanent marker on the wings so you know always where the balance point is suppose to be.

On larger scale planes there is some fudge factor but on these Ultra Micros there is not.
