Foggy this morning?

I don't have the nerve to fly this morning. There's no wind at all but it's real foggy. I have some 150 mAh 1S batteries for the UMX's and three 500mAh batteries for my new B-17G. But mother nature is messing with me.

Just heard form a RCGroups guy up in Denver and he said it's only 21 degrees and hard on his hands. I don't trust my eyes enough to risk a foggy morning flight. maybe later in an hour?

I decided to fly in the fog anyway. I don't normally get very far way so it should not be a problem.

I had allot of trouble with my champ though. I flew it yesterday with balsa floats. The floats were way to heavy. So I removed allot of weight off the floats. Could not get the champ to fly again yesterday? I put the wheels back on the Champ this morning to get her right again? Had so much trouble getting her to fly again?? but finally prevailed? A Champ - How do you screw up a Champ?????

Now - I'm ready to try the lighter floats again.

I like to fly my UMX's in the fog. Go waaaaay up out of sight, then put the sticks in the corners and spin back down.

You can probably use the auxiliary channel on the B17 brick to put in some lights.

I'm for sure not flying the B-17G in the fog. That's my Best plane at the present. If I should lose the Champ or the ASK-21? Oh well, but the B-17G. Not going to happen!

By the time I got the champ up the fog was almost gone. I have a video in my Blog of the champ (Poor Thing) in the fog?
