prop shaft holder diameter
Hi Guys, I have a prop shaft similar to the one in this link: http://i59.tinypic.com/2enp7de.jpg
Mine takes a 1/4" flex cable at one end and an M5 thread at the other. I need to buy a prop shaft holder, I don't have an accurate tool for measuring the diameter but would I be correct in thinking the prop end of this shaft would be 5mm diameter? The holder would be sitting in between the thread and the part that holds the flex cable.
I was a bit concerned that a 5mm shaft holder might be way too tight for movement with a 5mm shaft? or is that the correct size? (I have to order it online so I cant take my shaft along to try it out first unfortunately.

Try the speed boat threads http://www.rcgroups.com/racing-boats-electric-57/
They may need more information than what you have .post Photos of current setup/ under hull strut? Aft strut? I have no clue on "flex" shafts . I built with 4mm ss shafts.
