That's my thinking too. And thinking the finer grits may not reduce the microfuzz much....EPP is tough and stretchy, not at all like sanding wood.
Good excuse to stop sanding as well!

Maybe a little test sanding on a scrap is in order.

Other opinions are welcome!

You can also press that fuzz back down with a covering iron.

Do you want to test 3mil on EPP that has not been sanded vs sanded?

We usually recommend sanding hotwired EPP as the wire will leave a bit of a slick skin on the EPP.

I have 3mil CP lamination film here and plenty of EPP scraps. Not sure how scientific you want to get.

The more I think it over, the subject came up over shaping a fuse that had been sanded. If you sand epp it'll have fuzz so I guess the question is how much fuzz can you get away with .
