Hey RC-Friends,

I just got these screw propeller adapters, but when I tighten them the propeller is still not fastened 100%. Is this normal ? Should I get a better screw-driver? Should I soak it in THREADLOCKER ? here a vid.

Those grub screws have to bite on the shaft so the prop does not twist on the shaft at all, thread lock will only stop the grub screw loosening during flight, if the grub is as tight as it will go then it suggests the thread in the prop adaptor is knackered.

I lifted off anyway ... I´m tired of all this fiddelydiddely. Got problems lifting off. I decided to hold it and it attacked me. I´m bleeding. Three cuts right into my forearm. Why is it lifting off like this ? :

Stop trying to fly it indoors! What if it hits your face.... Eye....

Its flying like that probably because a prop is slipping on the shaft.

Your lack of care will make this hobby very difficult for you..

Get the props correct so they don't slip anymore, then try it again OUTSIDE!

Adapter below with no grub screw works perfectly.

Agree, sort the props before you do anything else, it will not fly unless props are solid on the motor shafts. Test outside well away from u and any other obstacles.

With the props off make sure motors are reacting in the correct way, if u drop an arm on the quad that motor should speed up.

If you are having problems with grub screws slipping on the motor shafts you must use a dremel and grind down a flat spot on each motor shaft...
