Details:

Weight: 28.5g
Size: 154mm(L) X 40mm(W) X 92mm(H)
Battery: 3.7v 150mAh Rechargeable lithium polymer battery
Charging Time: about 20-35 minutes
Flight Duration: 7-12 minutes

And the "search" light in the nose is can be switch on/off by the TX... (as the U807)

I think this machine is the same as the U807 only the canopy is the difference...

I own a yellow u802. The forward speed is really fast and overall the helicopter feels very zippy and powerful. Hovering is not as easy as the s107 but still manageable. Build quality is excellent and comparable of that to the s107. Its really worth trying out.

Hi bulesz,

My U802 is still holding on very well after countless of flight in my home and office. Gyro hold is spot on, unlike my JXD 335 which requires trimming in the span of 5min flight I have. My U802 had NEVER required any trimming during flight times. That is very much like the S107's gyro.

Battery has degraded slightly, but still able to give about 5min of flight with plenty of power left. There seems to be some form of protection built into the charging circuit as compared to other helis I have, it takes a slightly longer to charge. I understand that quick charges kill lipos prematurely.

Also, from my own mistake, the lower rotor is loosened, but a bit of super glue fixed that and makes it fly like new again.

Build quality is certainly in the league of the S107. After numerous crashes, the frame is still holding well with no signs of loose parts. My 4 rotor blades are in a bad shape after hitting the walls and ceilings, but surprisingly, it did not affect the way it flies. This is what I call a very solid design.

The only gripe I have is that throttle is not as precise as the S107, though that is compensated by the zippy flight characteristics. It is able to withstand light breeze better than the S107. I find that surprising for a helicopter this size.

I am sure you will enjoy this as much as I do. It really is a gem. I really wonder why it didn't receive as much attention as the Phantom 6010 and the Syma S107.

@TFMeouch Thanks for sharing your experiences! I was thinking the same...due its technical specs (-20% less weight than the S107, good quality, lower price) why doesnt have it more attention...

To tell you the truth the S107 was a big disappointment for me (fortunately I could sell it immediately) because its short battery life and very poor forward speed.

5min flyingtime with your serious mission background is impressive. My brothers S107 (xmas present) has only 2-3 min...

So I am very curious about this little guy, I hardly wait to arrive!

@snoze its still on the way, probably I will get it on next week. I will share my first impressions and write a review.

You can see that the chasis design (two bent alu plates rather than four flat ones on the S107), and fewer gears (two big inline cogs connecting directly to the rotor shaft from two small cogs on the motors) would account for the lighter weight. It seems to have more LEDs, probably the reason for the off switch. Parts availability would be a concern. The S107 is less stable when lighter.. it'll be interesting to see how this handles. Nice looking Heli tho'.
