How about you put a capacitor across the RX power so if there is a sag it should stop a reboot. It is also not beyond the bounds of possibility that the TX has a problem, seeing that you are using various Rxs it would be very bad luck to get the same problem with different makes.

That's usually when I start to mellow out my throttle. The telemetry sure talks some sense into me. Once it lands it is usually 11.6 volts, but that just shows you the sag that can happen. Low c batteries are even worse. I wouldn't use any that weren't 25c or higher as late in the flight they sag pretty bad. Are you using the stock ESC? I never used mine and put in a 40 amp eflite with 5volt switching BEC.
Thanks guys for the input.I am running stock gear. The battery I was flying with at the time was a 25C.The voltage sag theory makes sense to me.I do have a couple 45amp ESC's with 5A switch mode BEC.I might make that switch,or just go back to 72MHZ on this one to be safe.I am also going to throw on a meter and see exactly what kind of power this set up draws.

Mounted the Vortac Bomb drop mechanism and it works. Glad I didn't use anything but a HS50 micro servo. Had to set my end point to within 20 points of open and close or in other words almost no travel. Had some buzz too which seems to go away after a little while, but still very annoying. I might have some ground clearance issues, but I notice the full scale plane had very little with a centerline tank as well. Will try and test fly this weekend and get some video of some commie shake and bake.

New Super Weapon is mission operational now. Flight Boss(wife) already thinks I am crazy before seeing this. Now she says it's official.

Half my fleet is still on 72 MHZ and I am thinking about swapping this one back over as well.I am starting to wonder about the 2.4 G stuff.I mean,I have never had trouble with my 72 MHZ radio equipment. It is rock solid as far as the eye can see.I really don't want to lose this wonderful airplane.
Thats why I fly Futaba now. Spektrum is crap even those orange receivers as well

Thats a very wide ranging statement considering how many people use Spektrum with out trouble, me included.
There are those who always seem to have trouble but its always the products fault, I have seen some of the installations where people have had problems and I would not let them fly even though they say they think the installation is perfect.
People assume that 2.4Ghz is impervious to problems..........its better than 36Mhz (72Mhz) but not perfect whatever make you use.
What are you going to say if you start having problems with Futaba...Hmmmm

OK I'm not going to argue the point but all I'm saying is that Futaba may just suit you style of installation of radio gear. There are many that have had problems with Futaba and not Spektrum.
