New Product
Version II -- SuperSonic Jet Motor available now at GraysonHobby.com -- Version II

There is now an affordable ParkJet Motor

These came in last friday and over the weekend we were able to test them out. HOLY COW! Time for Webster to create a new term for FAST!!

I had this installed on my Steve Shumates F-18 and its I can stop talking about how fast it now is.

Grayson Hobby Brushless Combo for Parkjets

Finally added a video. This F-15 is my slowest flying Jet and doppler had it at 65mph.

Grayson Hobby Brushless Motors for ParkJets (1 min 56 sec)

Great Video from Dave at RCPowers

Looks really good...especially the price. Could this be the "Esskay" of parkjet motors?

Have you tried any other props on them?

I have all the APC props coming should be here in a day or so, but from my life motto, if its not broke do not fix it

I do not plan to change props on the F-18, but Ill test everyone one out.

Do you have any video of this motor on the Shumate F-18? I for one would love to see it as I am planning on building one of Steve's parkjet designs and have thought that a high KV outrunner like this might just be the ticket.

Later,

Jay B.

Hey Smash,

I saw you over at Daves F-22 thread! He has been working on this a while now and looks promising for sure, doesn't it? Mine is just about done but I don't have a motor for it. What do you think about this one here in this thread? Looks like a good combo no?

Let me know what you think.

Pete

Let us know how it works out Pete. A low cost alternative to the LSPJ would be great.

Looking forward to seeing some numbers from various props too Lt. I guess at the current price I could do some testing too. Hmmmm!

The 5x5 APC is pull 18amps @183 W
The 6x4 APC is pull 20amps @ 240 Watts

The 6x4 I belive is the way to go for the parkjets, but Ill have to do some real world testing to verify.
