Bulkheads are 3/8 ply all cut out with a jigsaw!
I had half a sheet of it laying around so got the keel and the bulkheads out of it I bought the plans on ebay from Davesdrydock who has a online store on ebay The plans are ok for the money but are not brilliant, but for a base and getting started they are perfect....cheap too!! Pressure mounts now to make this model look good as i suddenly realise people are actually watching!! here is a link to the ebay store for plans http://stores.ebay.com/PLANS-N-THING...34Q2ec0Q2em322 |

question
Info please
If i glued down some thin steel with epoxy over the fo'c'sle where the anchor chains run, will the epoxy carode the steel? See pictures for exactly what i mean? What would be a decent wood for the decking planks? Had another productive day with being able to do a bit during work time
