Brian, I'm glad you are up for selling a couple of kits. Such a great example of the Hun should have as many flying as possible.

Flew the Hun 5 times yesterday at Warbirds Over Pennsylvania. I barely got to hang out with my buddies because so many people were asking me for details about my plane. Lots of people disappointed that it was not an ARF they could go buy. Nice to know that all that hard work is well received. :-)

Someone shot some video of the event. There are a couple passes at 4:16 so you guys can finally hear the Dynamax. Definitely don't love the sound, but LOVE the reliability.....so far anyway lol

Today started laying up parts for V 2 lite

Warbirds over PA 2015 (9 min 27 sec)

Sounds like a great time at the Warbird meet. Congratulations! Now we just need some nice HD video of it with all of the tanks and ordinance on it, doing all that pilot sheet.

Brian did you ever experiment with the thrust tube diameter or did you decide just to leave it at 3 3/4? The Hun is looking sooooo good!!

Yeah man it flys so smooth and ,Ost forgiving jet Inhave ever owned. I had at least 3 people tell me I scared them when I shut the motor off to retract the gear because they said it looks like it's going to fall out of the sky it is flying so slow. It flys like a foamy.

Yeah that would be cool! Honestly it flys like crap with the, on there though, first flight of the day I flew with just the missiles and still sucked. Flys so different.

Thanks Bri! It is flying well so just couldn't see 1/4" making that much difference so I just left it at 3 3/4" yeah.

Learning from the last one where to add strategic reinforcement to the hatches resulted and perfect fit on this one. Virtually no filling anf sanding required. Puttingthe rear former in the tail of fuse in the mold kept the shape better and made the exhaust cone fit like a glove!

5 ozs lighter so far. No crazy weight savings yet but all those ounces add up. The wings are where I packed on weight. Trying to find lighter straight struts than 1/2" Roberts. They weigh 1 pound. I was looking throughout the thread and I was 21lbs for test flight. How did I get to 24???

Wings were 17ozs after sheeting and now 48 rtf. Covering should save close to 2 lbs between both wings I bet. Toying with the idea of making molded wings as well.

Going to try laying up another fuse and see if I can save more weight.
