The battery came along with the package. It was not installed. It came with the package and not separate as the japan-fpv site claims. It was in the black cardboard box along with the recorder and other cables.

No idea, but when you put the item in basket, it shows as 119$
I already have one, but damn 119$ is cheap.

It seems to me it would be better to have the video recorder on the aircraft just before the tx. (unless you are using it for tracking a lost plane, and there are better alternatives for that imo). This way you don't have interfence issue with the feed.

I've seen a light uncased sd card video recorder (for aircraft use) somewhere but I can't remember where. Anybody know it or try it?

I did. Fair quality, not comparable to FPV-Japan. Corrupts file sometimes.

$119 is confirmed. Total cost was $145 including DHL express shipping for $26.
