It's blown my socks off how well this performs for what it is. I'd compare it to some of my nice balsas and everyone comments how well it flies, even the giant scale gas 3d dudes at my field. Hovers with zero effort, hardly ever rocks wings in a harrier, ke spins extremely tight and blenders are almost effortless. It also seems to handle the wind a little better than the skywings. Highly recommend it.
that's what I want as well

but cant find it in stock in the usa

Hobbyking have one that's exactly the same, just has hobbyking on the wing where the future models is written. That's the only difference (I have had both) -they must have some sort of arrangement. Try ur east n west warehouse n search mx2.

wow, the colours on the MX2 look a lot brighter than the Skywings, or is a trick of the light?

The MX2 is made by Future Model who still paint their planes, whereas Skywing print their planes. The painted planes have more vivid colours in my experience. Take a look at the vivid colours of this beauty that I maidened today. The colours are even more vivid outdoors on a sunny day.

Nice collection there, Shirty .

Cheers mate. Yep agreed, the colours on the skywings are a bit dull, especially compared to future models. (Red seems worst). However, the 55inch skywings seem to be a lot better than their smaller cousins.

Groovejet has a really good video of the mx2 if you want to see it in action. It's why I gave it a go truth be told. How's the extra btw?

Good info. I have a MX2 arriving tomorrow, was hoping FM still paint their planes instead of printing. I have an old WM/Skywing Yak55M and the painted colours look great.

My skywing Edge (48-in) MXS (48-in) and Edge (55 -in) are great fun to fly and do have nice colour schemes, but the colours start wearing off a bit quick.... maybe the printer needs to be set on HQ or SHQ

The green 55-in Edge gets quite a few compliments on its looks!

The Extra looks nice Groovejet, looking forward to a flight report on that one. EDIT... I just saw you like it more than the MXS

Finally got mine back in the air again. My 3D is very rusty at the moment, but this is a sweet flying plane. Did manage to tear the landing gear on a dumb thumb moment, but I'm now way more comfortable taking this up in smaller spaces.

I forgot to post up my pics after my crash ,
I swapped out elevator servo real quick before going to go fly and forgot to put the servo horn screw back in and I was low and almost wide open then no Elevator then BAM RIGHT INTO THE GROUND

I LOVED THAT PLANE ONE OF MY FAVORITES AND I FLY EVERYTHING

Salvaged the motor put a new shaft and pro adapter, salvaged the Esc bought new servos all the way around just cause and got a new Edge 540 from HobbyKing sittin on my work bench

Daaam! Sorry to see that. The landing gear could be a good spare for your Edge, I broke the CF gear on mine....
