does their shipping calculator ever work or is it just there for show? I've tried 3 times, on 3 seperate occassions to get the priority international shipping value of a purchase and got 'warning couldn't connect to host' every time.

Good way to lose business.

It doesn't seem to be working for me either. You could call them. They do answer unlike other places.

nah, not into making long distance phone calls when i'm trying to make a purchase from someone.

So i tried to check out anyway, and before i can continue i have to enter my credit card information. Why? I thought i could pay with Paypal.....why do they need my credit card info?

And all this before i even know how much the shipping is going to be. HL have had a habit in the past of way overcharging on shipping. So they get no financial information of any kind from me until i get shipping info.

Strange way to do business, i gotta say.

Yeah, I know. Same here on the foamies. The prices keep droping though. The composite just stays the same. I'm really thinking of getting a koysho mirage. $99 for any EDF isn't bad.

my only issue with the kyosho is you can't get anything bigger then a 45mm df in there....and the fuse is tiny.

i guess the alpha mig is pretty small too, but for 100 bucks.....but then again, i no longer have any 3s packs that are small enough, so that's more $ to spend.

the online calculator is working again but it gave me a much higher shipping quote than i got on the phone when i called in (i did call afterall as they had a toll free number that works for canada). So i called back and ordered over the phone.

Got the Alfa Mig 21...too nice a deal to pass up on.
