Great flying but a little wet...

Waiting out the showers paid off with a great afternoon of flying. I got to maiden my Gizmo which hauls @$$! I like it!

Vic flew his new Ambrosia F3X. This plane is a 9.9 on the Muller scale, the fit & finish is beautiful. I can see why Vic would want to keep this away from my drool covered hands... more about that later.

I flew my Strat-Air Hurricane quite a bit between Gizmo giggles.
I even let Vic fly it. (I'm soooo bad)
We even got to turn a few friendly laps together, Hurricane Vs Ambrosia.
Bear in mind the Ambrosia has 10oz weight more than the Hurrycaine.
BTW is the Ambrosia a "J" plane or a "B" plane? Maybe Vic will tell which was faster

the Fosa was fasta...

Nice and green it is, and I miss it a bit. But look at the hats and gloves... I sure DO NOT miss that!

Hey Doug,

The Ambrosia is listed as a F3F model with a DP 8.3/1.66 airfoil!

I do plan to put the Ambrosia through a rigorous tuning session after the spanking the Hurricane gave it.

I thought the Gizmo-spank was more humiliating.

Looks like you guys had a great time. That Ambrosia looks great. How does it compare to your Fosa? I can't wait to run my Slope Slut with the Gizmo. Those things look fun.

I found one of those free pizza plops last time we were at PB. Didn't use warm Budweiser to wash it down with though.

And has been dry all morning... is that wall of rain in the coast range coming in or staying put? Someone should be shredding up the sky... Steve
