its all doable, get the 3 views and start cutting and folding

the problem with some of the scale planes is, especialy on the radial engine ones, the fuse gets pretty big and the prop that is specified doesnt stick out past the fuse very much and there hard to handle and launch, especially the 2548 class
in-lines make better planes for combat

Here is one pic that has three of your creations. Front and center with Sheepdog next to you. I have the corostang and the MiG-7 in the back. Pete Terry and Glen to round off the group. Terry had the latest creation from Area 52, an all foam Spitfire.

You always had one or two new creations at each event.

ah yes, those were the days!!!!! the hi-61 and the the 152 are still flyable, The p-40 had some issues but it did have a good maiden
that event was alot of fun!!

For the new season my new standard combat fighter. Engine OS MAX 25 FX, Wingspan 1200 mm, weight 1250g.

those are awesome!!!! im assuming that there balsa and paper covering.

Hello Draftman. These are made by Slowakian Pilot and Constructor Jozef Barat. They do have a normal composite fuselage , balsa elevator and Abachi covered foam-core wings. This Heinkel He 100 is made complete from PU Foam in aluminium forms. Like a Revell or Airfix static model.

That is really neat! I've never seen an R/C Model designed that way.

1/12 ACES Ki-61 for 0.10 to 0.15 class made by local builder. Wingspan 980mm. Will make a cowling after I find the optimum spinner and propeller setup.

Is that foam or molded ? It looks like a quick build.

The ki-61 has a composite fuselage with veneer covered foam wing. Flying weight with 3S 20C 2200mAh lipo battery is around 700g.

For our 1/8 scale WW I class a Royal Aircraft Factory SE5A made from a Timo Starkloff plan. Very simple and durable construction, powered with a OS Max FS30 Surpass

although It's not done...I'm nearing completion of my JK Aerotech Corsair.I still must install ailerons,throttle servo & switch.

I'll be flying this as a general sport plane..so it's powered by Saito 30 fs.The mount also fits various other engines.so I expect to be testing OS 25 FX...OS 32 F and also the Saito 40a fs.

Wgt. just under 2.5 lbs.It should be fun.
