Yes. Size, age, general condition of the LiPo all effect the results.

WHen they talk about the reciever [sic], it's the RX.
Agreed an Rx is a receiver.

But, Rx can also mean a drug store or pharmacy
Not if talking about electronics and I've not noticed that use in the last few decades or certainly not in the world, but possibly in USA.

and Tx is the abbreviation for the State of Texas.
Texas? Where is that? Oh, that country called USA !

I use a Hitec radio and it doesn't play any music.
And I've got Sony, Sanyo, Panasonic, etc. radios and they all play music. Even my cell phone has a radio, called a Radio and you plug in the headphones and listen to music coming from a radio station. So we have a radio station (Tx) giving the music and the cell phone radio (Rx) playing the music. Note the Cell phone is a Motorola which is American. My old Nokia doesn't have a radio in it for music.

What I'm trying to point out with the terminology is that the RX & Tx are both radios in the broad sense of the word. Defining the difference between which section is being talked about is all I'm asking, the transmitter Tx or the receiver Rx.

If you read the post in context and applied a touch of common sense, IE we were talking about binding the guys RX to his TX there should have been NO confusion on any ones part.

But I did notice you are from NZ!

Terminology was at issue.

Radio as in Radio Control - the system. So you are told to unplug the system. But is it necessary to unplug the parts, receiver (Rx) and transmitter (Tx) in the correct order? So saying "Unplug the radio.", doesn't indicate which part of the system, receiver or transmitter is unplugged first or last.

To bring in chemist shops (Rx) and counties (Tx) to an international discussion on electronics seemed a bit of a long shot....

marhar - ESC for music? Does the percussion section of the orchestra come from crashing into the ground?

With the Spectrum Dx series, if you read the instruction manual IT DOES 'NOT' MATER WHICH ONE YOU TURN OFF FIRST. Even in binding mode you can turn them off in any order!!
I have tried it every which way you can and it works no problem at all.

Just remember, if you turn the Tx off first you have an armed weapon on your hands with no ability to control it. Rx on last and off first is a much safer way to operate.

I got it bound and working -- just had the bind button pushed in by tightening the back screws too tight. All is well now.

I love the DX7 -- very smooth and love the mixing functions!
