I know a guy with an R22 and a few other birds, that puts Christmas lights on a big tree in his yard with the heli.

That was amazing! Wish I was that lucky when i got the Habu stuck in a tree at Kitsap. Ended up paying a guy to climb up and get it and was happy to find someone that would do it.

The polls will open soon for the election of five members to the MAR/C Board of Directors. The 3 members that receive the most votes will serve 3 year terms. The member that receives the 4th most votes will serve a term of 2 years; the member that receives the 5th most votes will serve a term of 1 year. All terms begin on January 1, 2013.

You may cast your ballot online anytime between November 2nd and November 13th. Paper ballots will be available and accepted at the club general meeting on November 15th, or if received by mail before that meeting.

Go to the MAR/C website www.mar-c.org and click on the “Board Election 2012” Tab. To vote online, click on the “Vote Online” button. You will now have to log on using your user name (or email address) and password. (If you have forgotten how to do this, see below.)

You will now see the candidate statements and electronic ballot. Select up to 5 members and then click the “Vote” button to record your vote. You will see in yellow font “Your vote was recorded.” at the top of the page (you may need to scroll to the top to see this). If you selected more than 5 members, all vote boxes will be cleared and your vote will not be recorded; however, you will have another opportunity to vote.

Alternatively, you may cast your vote using a paper ballot. Click on the “Paper Ballot” button to print a paper ballot. The mailing address is shown on the ballot.

We will tally electronic votes, along with any paper ballots received by mail, or cast in person, at the general meeting the night of the November 15th. We will announce the election results at the end of that meeting.

Log On Procedure:
You can Log On using your email address (or user name) and password. If you don't have, or have forgotten, your password, you can set up a new one by clicking on the "Forgot Password?" button under the member login section of the Home page. You will receive an email message with a link to reset or create a new password.
