Here's a pic of my T-28's with the MAS 10x7x3 (painted tips yellow). I also tried the the PZ 3 blade, but preferred the MAS. Flies well and looks even better!

Have to say, after this picture, I switched both to the APC 10x10E which works great!

squeezed in 4 flights today as the rain let up a bit. first landing coming in nice and slow picture perfect not much wind to speak of, touch down on the baseball infield dirt ever so gently... dig in and flip! WHAT! i forgot about the soft ribbon that runs through the middle after rain. no damage but shocked the hell out of me! next 3 landings spotted a harder patch and was fine. still a bit soft so roll out was minimal. wow! lesson learned the hard way. after rain touch downs must be spotted on the hardest areas. and with 2.5 tires. stock would have been even worse. still a fun time.

Finally got a chance to put my T28 on the watt meter. Using a fully charged Gens Ace 2200 mah 30C 3S battery (the battery has about 45 cycles through it), on the Turnigy 3536 1100kv motor with the stock 9.5x7.5 prop I got 38.37 amps and 442.72 watts.

"And yes, I was holding lots of down elevator to keep her from climbing to the moon"
If the CG was moved back to the factory recommendation there would be no need for lots of down elevator and the plane would fly faster.

Whose Tx xtal do you use in the ZX10 radio?

This tx is supposedly "shiftless", How do I take this sucker from channel 54 to 32 and get all my existent receivers to play?

Unless I'm mistaken, each "channel" has an associated rcv'r...note that channel 54 is 72.67mHz. Channel 32 is probably a different freq.

So you'll have to find a "channel 54" rcv'r...at least that's my understanding. My old Super Cub is flying on 72 mHz and works the same way.

Oh, and my T-28 will cruise around happily all day long, hands-off at 50%. I mean, to the point of flying outta sight if you let it; it's that stable and trimmed. Although it's pilot's preference, normally that's where models are trimmed. They'll pretty much all go into a climb when running full throttle....it's that whole thrust thing....even full-sized planes do it. The pilot counters that by inducing a little down elevator. Or trim. Either way, it's not a result of poor CoG.

Still proud of my little sky scorcher...!

I have 100+ flights on mine now and she flies like new. I have replaced the rear stab and elevator assembly because the "skin" was coming off, but she is fine and the first warbird I put up when I fly.

im at 127 flights and she is a joy to fly. going to be getting the extra 300 from santa so she will get to rest a bit after that purchase. however the cargo van will accomadate both quite nicely so im sure both will be going to the field either way. only problem... im going to need more batteries! i go through 12 with the t-28 each trip to the field and the 300 will need some higher C batteries ideally. ill be chucking in my t-28 batts to start and see how she flies with those. i can see im going to need a bigger hobby room soon... walt.

We fly at the Oceanside Senior Center on Rancho Del Oro Rd which is right off of Oceanside Boulevard. You are definately welcome. We have permission to fly there and all of us are AMA anyway so that keeps the Senior Center staff comfortable. It is really a great place to fly. We use an easement that is paved and is dead ended on either end going from West to East as a runway. There is no traffic other than our planes. Usually we have 6-10 fliers on any given Saturday and Sunday. They are a great bunch of guys. Our oldest is 83 and youngest is 45.

I'm trying to think back a few years but I think those had plug in crystals in them. pull the cover and you will see them. I have since tossed all of mine.

Bad Idea! Bind Plug Jammed!

I must have used too much force in removing the freaking Bind Plug out of the AR600.

I am serious, I am done with Spektrum!

Did not have any response on the model after the first turn!
