Hobby Room Photos

My Kid moved out & now I've been making a hobby room. Life's great LOL.
I sometimes use a strong folding table for the larger stuff that I keep hanging in my garage.
If you have a hobby room, post some pics here. Lets see them.
I'm always open to new Ideas. Garages are ok too.

I like your work table. Looks like you do some serious building. I'm into too many different things.

Will, you are one lucky guy!

Rumour has it (according to my Spousal Unit ) that when her youngest vacated the basement in our last house, as he was carrying his last case of 'stuff' out the door to leave, I was running down the basement stairs with a workbench on each shoulder and my jigsaw in my teeth

Slight exageration, but not by much...

For nearly ten years, I had the run of the fully finished basement. What was a fullblown bedroom for junior, with full bathroom became my two bench workshop, with huge wall and floor space for model storage. An even bigger room that had my computer desk / office in one corner, drawing board on adjacent wall, massive home-built bookshelves and still enough space to fly ittybitty models at a real push.

Then we moved to a condo. I have a small bedroom, which the toy airplanes share with four bikes. Three of the bikes will never suffer life in a garage and the fourth doesn't because our building is still under construction and one contractor will steal anything he can hack the locks off.

Fortunately, as my custom design/build service is pretty slow going, I don't have as many models as the OP. Need to get clever soon and figure out more imaginative model aircraft storage...

D

Whats nice about having a hobby area in the house is the climate control.
A/C & heating. LOL. I just use a folding table for the big size repairs.
My garage still has more RC planes & many different bicycles/motorcycles.

I take it the traffic signal is what your DW uses to let you know when supper is ready or company has showed up.

Haha, that a good idea. I should hook it up like that so mom doesn't have to text me or come outside all the time

It's actually just on a timer- cycles through the lights, about 1 minute and a half- 2 mins per cycle. It's really bright though, even though it just runs on standard 60watt bulbs!

They get messy fast. Looks like a great set-up with the your machines & all.
Nice comfortable work area! Still able to have few decorations on the wall.

I found out it's hard to keep it looking good with decorations, pictures & still have all your R/C items stored in the same room.
