@SPACE1,
I would say , take the design and build it like you want it. And see what is faster .
I prefer to have the thrustline in line whit the wing . Making it whit single edf, i do not know how it needs to look like, do you have ideas? (Think about the thrustline).

The fuse is a box. Whit that the fuse will be smaller than a round fuse is, when putting in 2x 4s1p lipo

Just looked for a lot of minutes to the side view, and saw that it needs to be changed. The fuse height can be smaller. There is a lot of air around the lipo`s, that needs to be changed.
Back to the drawing board

and the design in 3D.
I didn't do the wing, stab and elevator in profile, just flat. The main reason it is in 3D, is to look how the space in the fuse is. At the moment i don't know if i will make the fuse smaller. There still needs to be some formers in the fuse for strenght and to give the fuse his shape. When making the fuse smaller i think the problem will be to get the lipo's in and also the wires. I made the mistake whit the uriah, that the lipo wherefor i build it, didn't fit. Ok, the lipo did fit, but not whit the wires on it. And till now there aren't wireless lipo's

I've had a design on posterboard for a year or so and it seems like I have the fan combo needed in my Phazer. It produces very high efflux and the Phazer is extremely fast so I hope this one will be to. It's hotliner esqe with a side intake design, I'll post a pic after I rough the fuse out. 60mm on 6s 2200 is the plan

Good progress! I do see some similaritys of my concept

In theory you could place 1 fan in the centre and a fuse along the side (like a simplified Rutan Ares). That might be a good option to create good batterie space for high power setup (for a single fan jet) and good space for hardware.
With some creativity you can increase wing and elev mounting strenght as well.

I often noted closing a bifurcated exhaust on one side to gain intake efficiency on a Pyranha or Sniper like Ares.

Just a thought at Luft46 there is a jet designed like this but cannot find the model in short time notice.

grtz,
Erik

I think you mean bifurcated intake, not exhaust?
