I am curious, who threatened you with military actions?
Instead of bitching why didnt you send me a PM?
What's this supposed to mean?

I am a happy user of Eagle Eyes as well. As another stated the "distribution" function is very handy. I have an output to a screen, one to a DVR and another to a 5.8 relay...works great.

I used eagle eyes for a year and had no problems at all with it
I went to ET because of all the configuration options you had
I now have 2 12c MFD aat trackers
still have eagle eyes with a 360 pan/tilt setup, I might look at selling

Quick question for you guys. I currently have 3 DLRXs (2 micro & 1 older model) installed in airplanes with NGFW. I want to update to the 1.2 friendly FW. Do I need to remove the electronics attached to them? And by updating will it mess any of my switches and sticks already programmed? I would hate to take them out of the airplane to update. Thanks in advance.

Super Exciting News!

I did it!
The electrical interference problems that were causing Failsafes at 2-3km are GONE. I just did a flight with my big quadcopter and made it to 5km with perfect control!!!
Here's a quick video showing the OSD at the point I decided to turn around. I'm glad I did, because I think I barely made it back on the battery I had. I had an abort plan as my house is about 1 mile short of my takeoff point, and I thought I could just ditch it in the backyard, but thankfully I didn't have to do that. The other interesting thing was that I was dealing with a super foggy overcast, and I realized a mile or so out that my GoPro's ND filter was completely wet and that my video was going to be crap. Fortunately the FPV camera wasn't so bad so I had decent visibility.

Now I'm thinking about ways I can increase my battery life! But I will bask in the glory of this accomplishment for a few days first.

THANK YOU to everybody who helped me with this. I'm now certain that the problem was related to the power distribution board and it's built-in BECs for 12V and 5V. I replaced it with a basic distro board, and dedicated 5V and 12V BECs. And of note is that I went back to powering the DragonLink receiver with the 5V power coming from the NAZA's power module. That wasn't the problem at all, apparently.

You can update the receivers with servos etc. connected. Make sure you provide power (not just the USB adapter) when you do the updates.

Make sure you do and ID change on the transmitter after flashing it.
You will need to re-bind all of your receivers after updating.

Congratulation stevemaller,

Now you can just focus on getting more efficiancy from the batteries and the video components. BTW, (probably you already know) if you fly ATT or MAN mode instead of GPS, you could also gain some extra flight time.

Thanks man.
Don't use GPS much except when I need to park it for a minute.
Wondering about 15 or 16 inch props and different size batteries.

Eagle Tree also have very a good OSD with extremly many functions. You can set alarms for almost anything such as voltage, height, distance, amps, watts etc etc.

It also shows mAh and you can of course also have alarm for that, fx when it reach 7500mAh on a 10,000mAh batt you may start to think about landning. I have also set an alarm for low RSSI. The alarm can show as a text on the OSD or as a sound. You can pick only the things you want to have on the OSD so it could be very basic or very cluttered.

I have used their OSD for 7-8 years now and have had several - its really really nice.
