KST (is that what you meant?) are hard to beat on bang for buck, yes they are red any aluminium but colour isn't usually the most important consideration.
Hobbyking also do their 'RotorStar' servos some of which are just re-label of KST. They are gold and aluminium colour if that appeals more? Hobbyking also do re brands of some KST servos under the Turnigy name with blue and aluminium case (TGY-BLS815MG for instance).

What's your experience with helis? I'm getting increasingly worried the more of your questions I read. Picking servos by their color is just plain wrong. You want quality components in a 700 size heli (actually, in any heli), and certainly in a scale bird where even a light crash can destroy the fuselage. A 700 size heli can kill you, or an innocent bystander, and this actually has happened a couple of times already.

The KST brushless aren't really worth getting in the Turnigy version because you can get the branded version for almost the same price if you buy a full set and know where to look. On the other hand the coreless (TGY-725 and TGY-525) are much less than the branded version.

I did a teardown thread on the TGY-725MG and it looks like they didn't take any shortcuts on assembly, all the wiring is properly glued down at the solder joints.

I'm using a set of these in my Innova 700 (I'm using a Promodeler brushless rudder servo not the KST rudder servo) and so far they seem great.

servos are VERY important as is the Rx and its power supply. I use only MKS servos in all my high end and performance RC aircraft

For my big birds like the goblin770 they use standard servos ,so does the 570 . anything that's fast and high torque will do fine and not break the bank . its those stupid micro and mini servos you pay an arm or a leg for , because they must use a shrink ray to make them smaller or something

$35-$40 seems to be the cutoff point for reliable standard sized servos. Any cheaper and they start having to cut too many corners in the design.

My standard servos are the titanium ones from hobby king , or whatever those red ones are . Around 35.00 each and draw mucho power and will melt before failing , ask me how i know
I dont think they have them any more , great tail servo and overkill for the cyclic

Ummm, i did . I had the blade holder on and was setting up the tail servo . The FBL cyclic servos were doing their thing and trying to level the blades , but the blades were bound and couldn't move . You try that with any servo , they will melt and burn. mine still work , with a hole that melted through the bottom
