Can you paint Solite?

I am working on my first kit plane and did a terrible job covering the fusleage and was wondering if I can paint it over the Solite. Thanks for your help.

Here in the UK, the Solite manufacturers market a liquid called 'Prymol'. This is wiped over the surface of the film to etch it prior to paint. Try your model shop.

Hmmm well thanks for the information. Does anyone know if you can wipe Solite down once it is covered with somehting like windex or 409 to clean it up a bit. I just got done builsing and have some grime on mine and would like to clean it up a little. Can have my new beauty looking all dirty now. Haha Thanks guys.
