I've had the HK Drifter - and sold it.
It has a too small wing (narrow chord) and I never did get it to fly good, or like I wanted it too. If you guys want to start a very nice plane for a small amount of money then get the Hobbyking Slowstick. Fly it & enjoy it and then if you want you can use that wing for other MIA ultralights! |

Hi Tritan, good build goin on. I made a "sorta" Quicksilver couple years ago, my own design & still flyin it. Search RCG for Barbie's Ultralight for some pics. I had a full scale weight-shift Wizard back in '81 and a new Jetwing trike back in '84. You influenced me to take a look at MIA's website and I couldn't resist ordering one of his trike models! Very scale it seems, can't wait to get it assembled.

Les, Mario is easy to work with and I think he would appreciate it if you would ask him directly for specific dimensions on his products. His e-mail is miadsgns@cox.net |
