It was a nice first flight and Joe did some great radio set up to dial his plane into legal limit of 90db. He still had plenty of power to spare. On another note...I had never seen quad redandant backup backup backup backup electronics on an airplane as well as an emegency fail safe self deploying parachute, just kidding. However I do think Joe is just a little spooked by the MAR/C triangle gremlln's. Frankly I would be too if I lost a big plane.

Oh and since you like pictures Flop here's one just for you.

It's an unopened "Can-O-3D-Whoop-" / I am saving it just for you. No one calls The Earl of Whirl a coward...no one.lol

Joes Maiden (3 min 6 sec)

I have some more footage, and the blue tint was my (over) doing - so more/better to come later I hope, but I wanted to tell a story.

Wow Mike, that's awesome! Thanks for the tribute, very nice job. Mark's right, I was very happy today. The 3DHS Slick it a dream plane, this one only needed a couple clicks of trim and she was good to go. Balance was perfect (from the wing tube like Kody said).

And Lee: the word is "paranoid" as in if I lose this one moma's gonna cut up my credit card.

Looks like it was a great day. Wish I could have been there. Had to do things around the house instead.

Check out the video here of Gernot Bruckmann at the Tucson Aerobatic Shootout. His planes scheme is that of RENAUD ECALLE:

Thanks for the congrats guys, it will be great when we can all get out together.

BTW, I'm up to 17 additional voting comittments given by guys I've called on the member roster. Hopefully they will all follow through, they wrote down all 5 of our names and one guy I even talked through the on line voting procedure. I am surprised that only 2 that I've talked to so far had already voted, the rest had not. Maybe there's more non-voters then we thought. Everybody I have talked to has been very supportive, even appreciative that somebody would give them a call to update them on what's going on. We shall see...........
