I bought the sunsky system.. How long did it take to ship / get a confermation email?
They seem to be quite slow.. and the site says that even if they take your money, it doesnt mean that you bought anything..

This video was posted already in 3 threads. So posting here to show how Lawmate 1w 1.2ghz performs in distance, very close to LOS limit:

FPV, dx201 dies in over 4.2km away (4 min 39 sec)

tx antenna is stock, just picked 1 of 5 (tested all of them, to mach the best).
rx with patch 8dbi 1.3ghz (hobbywireless.com)

I bought the same unit yesterday but i immediately received confirmation from both PayPal and Sunsky with a PROFORMA INVOICE attached.
I don't know how much time it will take them to ship but as soon as they do it will be 3-5 days away (DHL).

Which RC setup you use? Got any interference on GPS for LM? On which channel is LM? I hope to be able to achieve this range and image quality!

Well, I was planning on stripping the camera down, and lightening it so I could use it on my indoor helicopter (a tandem coaxial)....

So what is the actual issue with this model? Does it not work AT ALL?? does it simply provide crummy range?

You will need to tune the video. Once the rx warms up, you will need to retune the video. So on and so forth.

I know I should switch over to the Newbie thread on this board but since we're on the topic:

How long does it take to warm up and will I need to tune it right from when it turns on to when its fully warmed? I can see how this would become annoying...

It serves me right though, I should have done more research here before I bought... I just found this thread before I made the purchase... Oh well We shall see how it performs when it gets here I suppose

Oh, and is it difficult to manually tune into these things? This is my very first time diving into wireless video devices

I've installed LM 1.2ghz just 6cm away from GPS (LS20031) and works OK. closer than 6cm still works but reception of sat is lower twice
I've just connected my dx201 and it works now
could cold temperature kill the signal? it was around -16
