It looks like Tower Hobbies might be getting ready to close out their Magnum
line of engines. I just ordered a Magnum XLS .46 2-stroke engine from them
for $49.99 plus about $8.00 shipping.

$58 to my door for a new ball bearing 2-stroke .46 is a real bargain, and
these Magnum XLS models have gotten pretty good reviews in the hobby press
too. If you need one for a future project, now is the time to order! The
Tower web site says quantities are limited.

Aww, it looks like they might be phasing them out, that stinks, the magnums i got are great, i guess i better get the magnum .52, its the only one i dont have .

It's just a sale. TH will still sell them. I got 2 from Hobby People for $49.99 each with free shipping. Great deal on a great engine.

Maybe there's a new line coming out? It often happens, and dealers don't like being left with 'old' stock - even if it is new.

Well, they are back in stock now at Tower, but now the price is $74.99. I guess we will have to wait for another sale. I wish I would have bought 2! The one I got is a very strong running engine. I hope it lasts as long as an OS.

Yeah! I indicated I wanted to be notified when they were in stock. I meant at the 49.99 price. They change the price and then email "they're in stock!" Good luck on selling one to me!

No new model comming out. The XLS is the new model. Great engine.
