The land rover is an hard body got it from an nikko rc truck.

i have a tamiya cc01 too and i am a bit tired of going slow i am thinking about putting an ansmann clash 23 turn motor in it do you think that wouldbea good idea.

I would make sure to replace all the bushings with bearing first if they havent been already. Other mods I would do is drill the holes for the gearbox all the way through and install bolts with nuts to hold the gear cover on better and convert it to front steer by cutting off the flat front and building a servo bracket, making new links and swapping the hubs around. These are the most common mods for the cc01 and improves durability and performance of the truck. Other than that it should handle a 23t motor

I did to my first one but I no longer own the truck. I have drilled out tje gearbox holes on the one I have now and added bearings. It is worth the time. I ran a 19 turn in the first one a few times. They can be a little unruly at those speeds

i know you have to be careful when cornering fast otherwise you can flip it

It would be a really good idea to waterproof it. Snow has a bad habit of getting into electronics and melting. There are several ways to go about water proofing electronics

i heard you can put a balloon round the battery ,put the esc and receiver in a waterproof box and then take the top off the servo and put plenty of greese in the gearbox to stop it getting to the electronics
