You must be really hard on your TH planes then
mine always just need more batteries. Of course as I type this my Pitts has a slight tear near the motor mount. Hit the side of the building at work half an hour ago. Haha. Got in 5 flights so far today though. Last one was in a pretty good breeze so might be done till the breeze dies off this evening.

Yes, I am very hard on my Crack Pitts - once went through 8 props before I had to stop because the motor mount and big chunks of the front fuse began tearing away from the rest of the plane. I fly it mostly in the front yard/driveway, where it spends a lot of time over concrete and asphalt. I also live on the side of a hill, so the wind really gets going. The house blocks some of it, but creates a lot of turbulence. Low 3D practices in these conditions usually ends with a need to do a Welders repair, which takes some time to cure.
I'm new to the TH brand, so this is the only TH model that I have. Based on my experience with the Pitts, though, I don't think it'll be long before I have other TH models. The Crack Yak and 3DBuster look very interesting to me. |

I have two 4-port chargers and three 1-port chargers:
Hitec X4 Thunder T-6 Multi-Lipo charger Hitec X1 Thunder 1220 Thunder AC680 I started with the X1 and AC680 1-port chargers, but it took forever to get all my batteries charged, so I got the Hitec X4. The Thunder T-6 Multi was added to get more batteries charged at once and the Thunder 1220 was added for its internal resistance measurement capability plus the ability to go to 12S eventually. |

got the pitts done, just waiting for my motor to come back. Is it normal for the wings to twist a little bit when you ailerons are moved?
