Brilliant Nitro,

I've used that technique on glue from a glue gun but never thought to use it on double sided tape.

Not thanks for watching, thanks for the vid!
I don't know why I missed this. I wish I new this before I opened up the plastic top of my UMX MiG
Just wondering, doesn't the alcohol solve the paint?

As Nitro said in the video, it does not. You may also want to experiment with Naptha (lighter fluid) which is somewhat more aggressive than alcohol (note he said 99% rather than the more common 93%). I use an eye dropper in flooding flood the seam I'm separating... the Naptha evaporates fairly quickly.

Neither the foam nor paint on the models I've worked on were hurt, but heed Nitro's caution to not rub. Experiment on the foam you'll be working with, but chances are all wil be OK.
