Yeah, it looks like a super-clean build...Keep going!

That fuselage looks roomy as heck. Cavernous...I had issues fitting a 2-ounce slant tank in my Cherokee. Sheesh.

Hi everyone.
Sorry for the slow reply. One of my issue that i have done is that i didn't mark the center on the bulkhead for the motor mount. Wondered that if would be good idea to take that off and remark and put back or recut another one put that over the other one?

I am not understanding the issue!

are you saying you cannot mark the location where the firewall is right now!

I can see a faint outline of the cutout for the fuel lines, and getting the center lines transferred too the firewall should be easy as a couple of measurements!

yes if I have the engine and mount, I like too get that done before I even put glue too firewall, but it is only a minor setback!

generally if there is some right thrust built in, then you only have too move the engine too the left side (looking from cockpit) enough too get the prop shaft centered in the cowl!

you can clearly see the center line on the side view on the motor mount! and on the top view it is slightly obscured by the throttle linkage!
get your numbers from those!

I built this model for RC several years ago. It's a very nice model.

Was wanting to put a .10 Thunder Tiger with a Pitts style muffler from Bison mufflers and would like to mount this in the horizontal position. Thought about using a Du-Bro 2 piece mount. Does anyone have any tips or advice on do this?

A .10's going to be a lot of power. It actually calls for a .061 at the top of it's power requirements. So a .10's going to be quite a lot more than it needs.

I'm flying my Herr Cherokee on a .09 and honestly it's so much power that it wants to keep flying with the engine at idle..It's interesting to land that thing. Lol.

Couple Pics Of Mine

MdMorgan-

I have built and flown several Herr Cub's , great little aircraft.

I flew my first one with a Norvel- .061, three channel rudder, elevator and throttle. Great combination.

My latest one with a GP-.07. Installed very nicely, the fit was excellent. I built this full 4-channel with dual aileron servo's ( HS-81's). The added weight was a little too much for the GP-.07. I changed it out for a OS .10 and worked great.
