I bought some eneloops and they are AA 1900mah
I am using the accucell-6 to charge them and I'm charging 2 of them in a series
After using them, they are both about 1.1v each before charging. I charge up and only managed to put back about 900mah.
I'm charging them in nimh mode with a rate of .1amp (lowest rate on charger)
Since I had 2 batteries in there, I would expect at least 1500-1800mah being put back or half of each of the battery.
Question is why so little? is it because 1.1v is only about 30% drained or so?
These are new Eneloops,...used about 5 cycles now.

Since you have them in series the measured current is flowing through both so 900mAh means that 900mAh has gone into EACH battery.
Oh and resting voltage is a very poor indicator of how much charge is remaining in NiMH batteries. All you know is that at 1.1V there's less than there was at 1.3V .

If you want to check capacity run them down slowly, put any significant load on a NiMH cell and you wont get close to the rated capacity (pretty sure thats a 1/20C discharge rating).

One of my many Sanyo Eneloop test which I have posted here on RC Groups
Discharged at 0.25 mA (1/4 A) for 7 hours , 1,750 mAh delivered down to 9.0V or 1.125 V per cell average as this was a 8 cell Transmittery battery.
Charged at 2A (1C) and discharged at 1A down to 7.2V (0.9V avg.per cell)
1853 mAh delivered.
As I have posted numerious times many get less than stellar performance from Ni cells due to the simple fact they do not care from them properly , much the same case as with LiPolys.
