Again not arguing all good points but expanding glue in areas that need accuracy is not my first choice.
In addition in the old days ( lol) on the original FMS 1400 P40, many of used GG to glue our wings on. That is when you really get a good look at how it does not permeate a surface but actually rides on-top .
Now, if you have had good luck with this glue please by all means continue to use it. Its just not my first choice over epoxy in critical areas.
LDM,
So what glue would you use in my situation? So you don't have to go back to read, I ripped the plastic landing gear mount (the part that is actually connected to the wheel well) out of the wing. It came out cleanly as there was barely any glue holding it in from the factory. I have some Foam-Tac arriving from MotionRC tomorrow, so I can use that, GG or Epoxy.

I dunno, when one of mine was loose I liberally applied the epoxy after I scuffed up the plastic and cleaned/sliced/roughed up the foam with perfect results to date.

I also learned to land properly...

Welders doesn't expand. Just be sure that whatever it's used on will never need to come apart again. Because it won't.
