Hello Michael! If you do the adjustments on the HALF formers it should be ok and both the endpoints should stay on the Cplane/ Mirror axis. Before mirroing you can us the 2..3 controlpoints at the ends to establish tangential integrity and to get "round" transitions ... always mirror after all adjustments are done as Splines work a little bit like a bow under tension: two unified halves with similar look but different control point locations end up in asymetry of the spline after unification....

How do you know when the surface youve created is correct?
How do you know its when good enough for modeling purposes?

Quality of the transition in between the seams
Quality of the bow and the curvature and ( Rhino has the Zebra room )

If you have 2 surfaces and the curvature , the bow and the seam in between both match most work is done ....

A nice reflection pattern on the surfaces wich would discover all warps and problems you could include during the setup!

Oke thanks, but can you explain what I have to do exactly and what to look for? Or is there a tutorial on this subject somewhere?
